About Us

We started Hats & Ladders in 2015 to help reimagine career education for youth ages 14 to 24. Building off twenty years of developing award-winning educational games and interactive experiences, we created a platform designed to motivate youth to explore, experiment with, and prepare for a wide range of careers.

Our platform offers an individualized, real-world learning experience that fosters career exploration, skill development, and informed decision-making. By building career self-efficacy – the confidence to make informed career decisions – we empower youth to become career thinkers and doers, leading to greater economic self-sufficiency and career satisfaction.

Empowering career possibilities.

Our mission is to prepare the next generation with the confidence and skills they need to get to work.
